| I phoned the organiser this evening. The bottom end of the field is waterlogged, but the top end is currently OK. He understands the issues with high-powered, rear wheel drive, low ground clearance cars with no towing hooks (!), so he will move our pitch to the (tarmac) car park if the field isn't suitable. I'm picking up the Thames Valley CRC banner from Roger Bailey tomorrow, so once that's up on the day it should be easy for you all to find the club pitch. All we need now is for it to stop raining ..... As for attendees, we seem to have: Me Pete (Sidecarbod) Eric (Osgood) Jeff Nobby Noel Martin M Dale M I'm hoping Steve Nellies (TourDeFrance) is also up for this - but I think he's on holiday again at the moment! Have I missed anyone out? |

| Steve Nellies - Tour De France, who's he?? I'm giving up Stage 1 to Canterbury for this event :P :P

| Jeff, There a quite a few local guys, plus others in all directions - so it's probably best that we all meet up there at 10:00. I might shake the cobwebs off the Dax and take a reccie tomorrow. I suspect we'll be pitched on the car park with the bikes rather than on the field. As you say, the weather forecast isn't looking at all bad. Fingers crossed. |

| Have sent off forms last week, should we have received anything back Just spoken to Pete in Spain and have arranged to meet round his place on the way there around 10ish if anyone else is interested

When I spoke to the organiser (Reg Cheney) the other evening he said that for the later entries they wouldn't send the passes out - but instead just issue them on the day. So that's the plan - but I'll be talking to him again tomorrow to check on the condition of the field. Cheers guys. |
