Uxbridge Auto Show - Passes Still Available

Folks, the current status is as follows.

Confirmations and passes issued:

Me
Eric
Peter B
Pete K
Jeff
Nick/Tony

plus Steve who had ordered his previously.

Which means I still have four passes left. They're £5 each - entry on the day is £10, so that's half price! It's a great show, and it's all for charity! So please drop me a PM or an email to secure a pass and a place on the CRC pitch. The plan is to also have a BBQ - it just gets better and better!

So let's build on last weekend at Fleet and fill this pitch too! I will need to post these out to you in advance, so please let me know by Thursday morning at the very latest.

Guys,

The weather's not looking good at all, so with no wet weather gear it looks like a tin-top job for yours truly at least.

In theory, the organisers are looking for all vehicles to be on the stand (C/5) by 09:30. It's a one hour drive for me, so that's an early start (by my standards anyway!). Mind you, at least if I take the tin-top I'll avoid waking up the village at 08:30 on Sunday morning. Every cloud has a silver lining .....

Let's see what tomorrow brings. In theory we will have:

Me
Eric
Peter B
Pete K
Jeff
Tony (with Nick?)
Russ
Steve

But will we have any Cobras on the stand?

Steve - you have your own pass. If you're in your Cob, I suggest you tell the marshalls that you're on the Cobra Club stand - Area C Stand 5.

Bl00dy weather - I've had enough!

I knew I shouldn't have given you the Tony special version of the "hands-off" notice last Sunday Jeff. Is this the start of the slippery slope .....

I've got no wet weather gear either, if its looking dodgy I'm afraid I'll be suspiciously absent!

Yep - I drove through that too on the M40, thinking "glad I'm not in the Cob" ......

Anyway, a good turnout folks. Let's hope the weather's OK for Saturday at Stanford Dingley.
