Guildford cruise

Just a quick reminder that the Guildford cruise is tomorrow (2nd September) at the Ladymead trading estate next to the Burger King.

If the weathers dry, I will be there and hopefully a lot of other hotrod, custom cars, Sports cars and bikes will also.

It starts about 4pm and goes on till everyone leaves. Normally between 6 and 7pm.

Craig.

The weather according to the BBC for Sunday is cloudy.
The weather according to AOL cloudy, light rain 23.00hr.
Chances are it will be dry!!

Do they still only allow rods & customs in the main carpark or is it a free for all?
More importantly is the red 32 Ford gonna be there?

Hi Andy

I hope it will be dry as it may well be the last dry cruise of the year and my road tax runs out soon and I was going to SORN it for the winter.

It is currently un-marshalled so anyone is welcome. At 4pm when we get there the shops are still open anyway so they couldn't really close the car park. The shops now close at 5pm

As far as I know Andy and his red 32 coupe will be there with me and possibly my Father in his NG.

Come and introduce yourself if you decide to come.

Craig.

Hi Craig

Just got to run it by the management....

Can't remember if we have anything else booked up, otherwise hope to see you there.

Should have sorted the MOT on the hotrod, would have been good to take both. MOT's next week!

If it's a go, I'll aim to arrive 4.00pm.

Hope to see you there.

The peak time seems to be between 5-6pm but cars start to arrive around 4pm. Boy racers in nova's turn up later in the evening after all the proper cars have left.

Craig.

Rename that the Guildford Cobra Cruise!

That'll be three cobs so far and possible three more.

Did someone mention before that there was a way in for cars with ground clearance issues?

Nice to know before I get there? Thanks in advance.

When you go into the trading estate instead of turning right at the mini round about, go straight on in between the buildings. At the end you can turn right and drive behind the shops. There is one small bump on that road but it can be negotiated with one wheel off the side so hopefully won't cause a problem.
Once at the end of the shops you can turn right again and you are next to Halfords. Drive towards the burger king and park up.

There is an exit as well next to Halfords to get back onto the main road without going over the bumps on the entrance.

Craig.
