Hi Steve, I had graunching noises from top of engine on cold starts. Took the engine out to do some winter upgrades and found the cam is stuffed, so are the lifters and cam bearing shells. Some light scoring on the cylinder walls as well. Looks like a bottom end clean up and rebuild. I'm praying the main bearings and pistons are OK.

Cheers

Well folks - what can I say? 15 Cobs in The Swan car park! With that free drink offer, I now know what motivates you lot!

Seriously though, it was great to see so many of you - a perfect end to the season after such an appalling summer. It's motivated me to do some bigger and better things next year - assuming we get a summer this time. A great birthday present from you guys, so thanks again for your support.

Of all the meets to forget my camera - but I know there were quite a few pictures taken, and thanks in advance to those of you who plan to send me some. I'll be needing them for the next newsletter.
