October Meet

Dear All,

Just a quick reminder that the next Thames Valley meet is next Sunday (21st) at The Swan - 12:00 onwards. It's my birthday the following Tuesday, so I'll buy a drink for anyone who turns up in their Cob! Now there's an incentive if ever I saw one

One thing I'd like to do is to get everyone's ideas for a Christmas get together - so give it some thought during the week, and we can discuss on Sunday.

Would like to attend subject to beer induced celebration/commiseration for the rugby result. Not sure where The Swan is - can you provide a post code for those requiring it. Tom-Tom can then navigate and not rely on 'erindoors'

Simon - I'm still recovering from your post last month in the Dax forum about getting your chassis modified. I guess you must have finally replaced that blown light bulb in your garage!

Tell you what - you turn up in your completed Cob any time within the next year and I'll by you several pints! I'm betting some of the other guys would match that offer - so there's an even bigger incentive for you mate!

Well not quite. My car is in a million pieces scattered around the garage. It's a long story! Well hopefully it'll be back together, painted, new heads, cam and EFI by the spring?

Yeah right!

Cheers
