Track rod ends

I just had a local garage do all of my fluid and filter changes for $65 ( I supplied all materials). But having the car on a ramp for an hour to have a good look around is almost worth the money .
However, one concerning thing I discovered was that the track rod ends have been rubbing a groove in the front wheel rims.
The car is a bog standard 2003 Dax with all new Dax rack and Dax Jag front end. Wheels are the normal 17 inch Image Halibrand replicas.
Has anyone else had same problems and possibly a rectification process?

This would appear to be somewhat of an obvious design issue, maybe too obvious !

I guess it would only happen on full lock?
So leave it and remember to ease off on full lock.
Otherwise you can usually put a stop on the rack to stop it just before it rubs the wheel, depending on the rack Daxs have (ask them!).
Or if it is an edge making the score mark, round it off.

Track rod ends

Ah Hah!! so how do I get the Dax up in the air in Wokingham without paying $??

I am not the right age or size to crawl under the car any more.

I was going to ask the T.V. forum if there was access to a local ramp
