Group B rally cars will be in action at Stoneleigh, Race Retro, in March. You can get up close and personal!
I fill the nav. seat for a friend with an Abarth 132 every year. Great fun.
Audi Quatro special celebrations this year with some of the old drivers taking part.

Can you download this, and if so, how? We have broadband but it keeps stopping, , grrrrr

There is means of saving youtube videos but their not really official as you aren't meant to do it.

However, if your video keeps stopping because it is playing faster than it downloads, start the film then press the pause button. You should see a faded red bar still moving along the slider at the bottom. This is the download progress so as long as this stays in front of the play progress it should play smoothly.
You could pause the film for a minute or 2, let it download a good way into it then start playing again.

If it still stops after doing this your computer is the problem.

when we was yoofs and lived up in the Lakes, we used to go up to Grizedale to watch the RAC rally go through, usually about 6am. Hearing one of the group B cars approaching from miles off was unbelievable, especially the 6R4's which almost deafened you as they went past...

the special Audi Quattro that won pikes peak with Walter Rohrl must be one of the finest race cars ever built... and reminds me of a favourite story, the one where the yanks got very upset when Michelle Mouton took the record at that male dominated event!!!

forgot about the peugeot

I was lucky enough to drive my bosses RS200 a few times on the road (whilst observing all the rules of the road)

the best was a couple of laps round goodwood when we had an open day for customers

I got to spend most of the day driving people round in a Escort cossie 330 BHP

then the bosses friend who said he did "a bit of hill climbing" took me round for a spin in the 200 thought we were gonna crash at every corner, completely shi*ing it, back end leading into the tighter bends, proper 4 wheel drifts etc.

turns out he was British champion at the time! I loved every second.
