Couldn't catch you steve. My tuning was way off anyway....excuses excuses! It's gave me the incentive now to get it tuned up after running over 800 miles there,800 back and survived the good old blast around the track. Really pleased with the cobra and it's getting better all the time.
When you took to the side of the track at the start I got round the corner and you'll see one of the pace cars came on the track with all lights going and hazards. I thought there had been a problem and didn't think it was right to go past him until a few others went past me. The wee fiat/abarth whatever it was was the final straw and I eventually did. I even started to cut some of the corners in the proper manner eventually when there was no traffic. You know yourself coming up to corners etc you need to watch everyone else 'cause you dont know where they're going to go. Seen some cars going up between two cars although tempted I thought better of it and waited. I really like the rip off my car when I start to give it some and it got a nice "quite"sound at cruise so best of both worlds I suppose. Might not be in such a hurry now to change the sidepipes now.
Glad you enjoyed and that you managed to hear above my mate Paul yapping and laughing all the way round! Maybe he was nervous?
Imagine the guy in the porsche spinning on the final corner- shame heehee! A couple more laps mind you that might have been me as I started to go in a bit harder.
