Re: Seats

Kelsey,

I am approx. 6ft 3in and I have got Richfield Seats. I chose steel framed seats over fibreglass because I heard a story of a big chap in a Cobra accelerating out of a corner and his fibreglass seat shattered sending shards into his back. I can't confirm if it's true or not but I wouldn't want it happening to me!

Richfield do a special mod for us Viper owners by cutting out a wedge at the back of the seat so that it can go back further in the chassis (over the big chassis rail at the back) I can send you some photo's if you want so let me know. I can also let you know the exact model I had as it is more comfortable to those people with a slightly wider girth!

Hope this helps! :thumb:

Re: Seats

I bought fibreglass seats for my Viper (before I sold it) and I have since fitted them to my AK - no problems.
If I was building a Viper again I would follow Iain's advice.

Iain, it looks like you need a different perspective; try to become the shaftor not the shaftee

Re: Seats

Kelsy,

If you mean the side vents then speak to Bob Busbridge at Cobretti. That's where I got mine from.

With regard to the seats, I'll let you have some pics next week as I'm away for the weekend. I think the model number is RX1191 but please let me check on that and get back to you.

Cheers...

Re: Seats

Iain

I spoke to Pete on Thursday and told him about my conversation with Phil.

We had a good laugh, see you tomorrow.
