| Re: Rear Wheels for Jag Based Viper This is a deliberate attempt to scare the wits out of me isn't it Iain? Unfortunately my kits Sierra based (4 stud) but my 17" Halibrands with 255 tyres are in the post, due to arrive in the next day or two!! Am I going to encounter problems? Why do you need to change yours? oh God... Its ok... I'll just modify the arches... or change the springs... or... or How can you do this to me??? Please tell me its just cosmetic... Panicking! Declan

| Re: Rear Wheels for Jag Based Viper Don't worry, it's nothing serious! My rear shocks and springs are wrong, even though they were purchased from Ken "Knob" Cook along with the kit. I am therefore looking at a complete re-design of the rear suspension. I will be getting some shortened driveshafts and wishbones which will enable me to have dished wheels, I will be removing the standard Jag radius arm and instead bracing (triangulating) the wishbones. I will then just fit one shock either side. So, the wheels are absolutely fine and dandy! I will eventually get round to putting them in the classifieds if I get no interest direct through the Viper forum... Cheers... |

| Re: Rear Wheels for Jag Based Viper I really was worried there, good for the heart apparently! You really do like pain don't you!? Personally, I'm afraid to go near any of that pre set geometry...maybe when I don't have to worry about the big list of other jobs that I have to do... Back to looking forward to Friday's delivery for me...even more excited now! Good Luck with the sale. Club mag is going to press this week but you might still make it into this issue. Cheers Declan

| Re: Rear Wheels for Jag Based Viper Iain I told you about taking self portraits. Just a thought, have you considered ringing IMAGE and asking them if the offset they use on your wheels will fit other makes like GD or even a Jag based Sumo. ![]()
