Some dimensions please??

Hi all.

Could someone please oblige ?

i am in the try to level the body to fit other things before stripping apart again stage and require a few dimensions to get it reasonably correct...

Dimensions required:-

Wheel diameters.
Distance from ground to Hub centre.
distance from hub centre to highest point of wheel arch lip (internal)
distance from ground to lower air scoop on front.

i know this changes depending upon set up but need at least a few figures to get a ball park..

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Re: Some dimensions please??

Hi.
I may not be well enough on to be of use to you (not finished by a long shot) but got some measurements anyway...
Approximately:
Dimensions required:-

Wheel diameters: halibrand with kuhmo 225/45ZR17 605mm
: halibrand with kuhmo 245/45ZR17 640mm

Distance from ground to Hub centre. half diameter of wheel

Distance from hub centre to highest point of wheel arch lip (internal)
Problem with this one is ride height not set (think I need to cut springs according to the "manual"!);
front 715, with 108 from top of tyre to arch
rear 770, with 130 from top of tyre to arch

My guess is gaps are supposed to be around 30 - 50mm?

distance from ground to lower air scoop on front.
Ground to top of bottom edge of top air scoop opening: 345

Good luck with it!
Declan

Declan

cheers mate.

I know what you mean about the set up but needed ball park figures to see if i am heading in the right direction.

The main bit was the wheels, as i am still on the push around set..

Thanks

Dean.

PS could any one on the road get the tape out please?

Sailing on now then Dean eh?
Best wishes

Declan
I would take 15-20mm off of half the 'free' diameter of the wheel for the compression where it touches the ground.

Re: Some dimensions please??

Ours will have max 3 inches clearance between bottom of fibreglass body (oil cooler air scoop) and floor.
How is yours looking Dean?
