Cool It lives again!

With the help of Martin (Tinka) and Jason Leigh I managed to get the Cobra running again today. I was surprised at how easily it started considering it has stood for over two years since its initial run in.

The idea was for me to drive it out and back into the garage but sadly it was not possible. It would appear that due to where the car has been stored the friction disc has rusted to the flywheel and we were not able to free it up today.

However, a quick video can be seen to show that it was out on the road and running.

There are a few minor problems to sort out along with freeing up the Clutch but in all, a positive day today.

Thanks guys!

Fantastic!

Now you are going to have to be brutal to unstick that clutch.

Is it me or is Tinka going grey faster than a fast-going-grey-thing?

UPDATE!

The clutch is now free!

Started the car in 3rd this morning with the back end on axle stands... Loud crack and everything is peachy!

Even managed to drive the car 4ft forward and backwards in the garage!

SVA here we come.... just when the long list of jobs gets lower!

Cheers...
