| "Any one got any spare lamp holders for a smiths speedo & rev counter? (looks like clip in jobs)" Dean. Are they the metal bodied ones with just a hole in the back for the lampholder? If so i've got some Jag ones that might fit

| Hi Dean I'm glad to see your enthuisamn return with a vengence. You can use the tie rods to move the whells back and forth in the chassis to get your wheel postion more central. Keep up the good work. Cheers Kevin

| Kev. You are right there.. Forgot about that. Will have a play next week when i manage to scrape the resin off my fingers. Chris. I'll measure up and let you know. Cheers (you haven't got any for the 2" gauges as well do you?? Bit cheeky I know!) You obviously have been peeking to know the amount of tape I have used.... Managed to convert an escort mk2 heater box to fit in the hole. Rather chuffed with that. Just need to glass it, seal a few holes then make some brackets. and wire it. Would you believe that is something I forgot to put in the loom!!!! Berk.. might end up being only a single speed set up me thinks. Having said that I suppose I'd better test it first ![]() Podged the doors on to see if they were in the correct ball park. They appear to be in the next county.. Looks like some major surgery needed at some point to make them fit, but that can wait. Still need to wait for the glass to fully harden before I cut the fillets out. Fuel tank, gear knob and suspension system parts in manufacture now so should get them soon. Then I can stop using the jerry can for fuel. Always a bit worried the fact it was sat between the inner two exhaust pipes whilst trying it. Only needed the odd backfire to liven things up. Right now to search for Dash layouts to see what I like. More to come. Cheers

No wonder your build has only come to £1.50 so far, you have scabbed all the electrical bits from one source, all the mechanical bits from your 'in production' mate and all the other bits from Chris ![]() The tie bars do affect the handling, but from the corty club you can probably find out what centres are supposed to be between front and rear wheels. Also size and profile of tyres make a huge difference between wheels hitting or missing arches. Keep up the progress. Cheers Kevin

| He is always up for a challenge.. For which I never disappoint!! Slightly (but not much) more than £1.50 spent...(probably half of what you have spent sofar? but then possibly not as much as you spent in the first place????) The pushbuttons (9 off Stainless jobbies 6 momentary, 3 latching) came to £28 Mind that's not counting the Start Stop button which is a one off design which is either going to be ally or brass depending on the availability of the material.......watch this space........
