Newbie Intro

Hi All

Having now finished my own SSC/Sylva Stylus Kit, I've just got involved with a Viper project, bought by my uncle on ebay 3 yrs ago.

He's now in his 60s & lost the will to carry on, needed a kick to refresh the interest. Hopefully we'll pass SVA with it before he's 6 feet under !!.

Allegedly its a Cobretti, but having read a few threads, maybe not !

All the GRP bits are there, plus a (now rolling) cortina front / sierra rear chassis. Engine/ Man Gearbox & V5 are Rover SD1 Vitesse.

First thing done was to convert 4 stud Ford to 5 Stud Granada all round & fit some ex GT40 Revolutions.

Now busy fitting the GRP floor (round tunnel, for those that know what that means) & body.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer, now or later.

Cheers

Matt

Thumbs up

Hi Matt welcome to the site. The Viper boys will be along shortly I'm sure. Best of luck with the project.

Hi

Relatively striaght forward once you get the bits..

Its now MK2 Granada front uprights & hubs/brakes, & granada scorpio rear hubs & brakes (onto sierra subframe & driveshafts).

Will take some pics & post them.
