New Tripod P700 lights and clear indicators

Been a busy boy today, put my Tripod lights on and also put clear Lucas Indicators with Amber bulbs, these also have a Chrome surround, and makes a lovely detail.

The P700's look great, much better than the old flat Lucas main lights.

Got the same Lucas lights for the rear end, but using Amber glass lenses.

Photos attached.

Tripods look great. Keep looking at them myself. Where did you get them?

Stafford Vehicle Components - Headlights

You are best to uprate the headlight bulbs to 80/100w

Got them from S.V.C. You can get the same items from Europa, they wanted the same money PLUS VAT. Try this link.

Stafford Vehicle Components - Headlights

I had the Upgade to Xenon bulbs, for an extra £5 per light I thought good value.

They look even better in the flesh.

Hi Guys,

Bought a set from SVC but when I opened them they do not have the 'E' mark. When I asked the question SVC told me that Gerry Hawkridge uses them on new builds!

Does anyone know if the lack of 'E' mark will be a problem for SVA?

I bought a pair of second hand original PL700 Tripods for the AK & they do not have E Markings - I was advised when I bought them they would not pass SVA.

Regards,
Martyn

I didn't worry about the E mark, my car passed SVA in 2003.

As a matter of interest, I built a JZR Trike, that didn't have E marked head lights, but did have direction arrows, and it passed no problems.

Mark
