CeeJay.
The 3 people I know who have built or are building Vipers have all made their own from scratch.

Hi Ceejay
We had the Morris Marina one with ours, so we used that in conjunction with the donor Granada throttle pedal assembly.
Would the Sierra one fit perhaps? I have seen a lot of pedal boxes for sale on ebay, but none seem to have the servo fitment.
The odd Marina pedalbox comes up on ebay occassionally, but servo refurb and new master cylinder makes it a dear do. We converted ours to a MK V escort servo and m/cylinder.
I am still waiting for your phone call Ceejay when you have a few mins.
Live long and prosper
Cheers
Kevin

Mine came with the sierra box fitted. Only had a cable clutch though and because I liked the "floor up" accelerator pedal, and as it had a hydraulic clutch, I used an e30 bmw set...with the usual messy mods of course.

May still swap them back out mind as I'm having brake trouble so I'm also interested in other solutions.

Is the Marina an hydaulic clutch Kevin?

I'd also recommend cutting a board to line the footwell floor. Getting in and out upside down is hard if you can't slide easily and the cross member on my floor made quite an impression on me at the time.
I don't recommend using an angle grinder when your head is in there though!
Good luck
Declan

Hi Deck
The Marina is a hydraulic unit, it has a nice smooth feel and uses standard girling cylinders.
I had to extend the pedals using my setup though to get them to feel softer as i believe the leverage wasn't enough.
If i was to do it again, i would be inclined to look at a common production car and see what could be used from that as sourcing 30 yr old plus car parts can be a nightmare.
I have had awful customer service from wilwood so i would strongly advise against them. My clutch puller slave vibrated apart and left me stranded. All Wilwood could say was post it back to the US for them to examine it. Upon asking for a replacement part that had dropped off they stopped answering my emails.
Cheers
Kevin

That brings us nicely back to the original question Kevin...
Anyone got any recommendations for pedal boxes to use with a RV8? I'm particularly interested in the hydraulic clutch versions and a brake master that is guaranteed to drive Sierra pots!.
Are you the same CJ?
Cheers

Sierra? On my Sumo it's a Sierra pedalbox, (Magnum) converted to a hydraulic clutch, and a mixture of Granada and Cortina brakes, I seem to stop OK withiot my foot going to the floor, and the clutch isn't too heavy.
I believe it's a non ABS set up needed.
Stu
