    Cool RAM Cobra for sale

Unfortunately time for the Cobra to go after knowing the car for many years and owning it for 5!

    So here's a few details:

    Model: RAM Cobra (LR Roadsters)

    Engine: 350Cu in (5736cc) Chevy, Re-bored +.030

    Fitted with TRW forged pistons.
Crank – reground, tuftrited & balanced, ARP main studs & rod bolts.
Edelbrock Performer Plus cam, lifters, true-roller timing set & high vol oil pump.
Torker II manifold with Edelbrock carb, Cloyes mini torque starter.
    Mallory electronic distributer.
Edelbrock chrome valve covers, air filter, alternator, timing cover & sump.

Heads: Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminium heads.
    2.02” Inlet & 1.625” Exhaust valves, screw-in rocker studs.
Competition Cams, roller rockers and hardened push rods.

Gearbox: Tremec TR3550 TKO 5 speed with kevlar/composite dual layer clutch.
    Hayes 30lb flywheel.

Front Axle: Jaguar XJ12. 12” vented discs, 4 pot callipers.
Rear Axle: Jaguar XJ12. Limited slip diff, 11” drilled discs.

Built using 1970 Jaguar donor, correctly registered as LR Roadsters
Classic "H" plate so tax exempt.
Built by a very reputable chap from the Victory Wheelers Club in 1990, I am only the second owner since this time.
I have a full pictorial history of the build including pretty much every receipt going!

Have a colour matching tonneau cover that I tend to use if needed as it zips down the middle so can open one side only. I do have a roof but to be honest it is not very good and I have never driven far with it on.

Has classic rear exhausts which also allows extra legroom for the driver. At 6'2" I struggle to fit in some other cobras that I looked at in the past; this has the bonus of plenty of leg room.

It's a great car that has that real classic look and sound to always turn heads; not concourse as I use it but a very honest example, well built and with all the right bits. Being pedantic there are the normal few marks around the body and ideally currently needs a small new piece of carpet in the driver foot well, rest is good. To be honest, I have mats so have not got around to sorting that bit as yet.

Photo of engine bay is an old picture but still looks the same apart from I changed the distributer from Accel to Mallory.
Had the car tuned on a rolling road in 2012 and printout shows a healthy 349.458BHP so certainly no slouch!!

    Price: £22,500
    Location: Hampshire

Hope I have included all of the relevant info, please do email me if you want to know anything else.
