    AK Slave Bracket and pushrod

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has used the AK slave bracket and pushrod
in conjunction with the getrag box and an SBC. I have a standard chevy clutch for and I not sure how it goes together. The pushrod is rounded at one end with a bolt and lock nut at the other.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Mike.

The bolt and lock nut are for adjusting the running clearance of the clutch you want a few mm of clearance at that point (between the rod and the clutch lever pocket) when the clutch isn't applied.
The round end sits in the lever pocket.
At least that's what imagining without a picture.

    Hi Kev,

I thought that’s it should work.
I’m just not sure how the bolt end attaches to the slave cylinder.
It’s a girling slave and the piston is concave so I would expect both sides of the pushrod to be domed.
I think I’ll give AK a bell. Perhaps I’m missing something or just being thick…..
