And yes I have the raised lettering on show, not everybody's cup of tea but I like it and
    that's what counts.
I have only had them a few weeks and I am more than pleased with how the handle and look.
    Chris.
I also dig the looks of the raised lettering.

I’m in a similar position myself at the moment, I have Toyo Proxes TR1’s on the back which are 235/50/16, that needs replacing and options are limited. After several hours hunting on the web, I can import some alternative tyres (hankook/falken/ other toyos) that range between £150 to £180 a tyre, but not sure if that’s reasonable or not. Then again if that’s all I can get then I don’t have much choice

Should have said that tyres I’ve found are 245/50/16, so as long as I have the extra clearance on the rear, they’re my only option, unless anyone has any other suggestions?

    Original on a ram was 215/60 x 15 front ( 25.1” diameter) and 255/60 x 15 rears (27” dia)
when I got my wheels 15” tyres were getting difficult to source so went with 16” (hind sights great, wish I’d gone 15”)

    what I actually fitted was 225/55 16 (25.7” dia) and 245/55 16 (26.6) both Dunlop.

Now looking at Continental premium contact 6
    235 x 60 x16 ( 27.1” dia) W rated rears £177 each
    225/ 50 x 16 (24.9” dia). Y. rated front £136. each

These are summer tyres, and by the time summer comes the car will have PAS.

    anyone tried these?

Managed to get some Hankook Ventus V2 Concept2 245/50R16 for just under £180 per tyre, including shipping and import charges.
