Could build it with a front air lift kit to give you a couple of extra inches?

    Ok it’s warmer today
    I’ll go and measure
I do have a “sacrifice” plate under the nose which is bolted up to the oil cooler - watch this space
It’s an interesting point. - if I reverse into my garage everything is fine as the front wheels hit the threshold lip first and lift the nose
If I drive in the nose scrapes the threshold !

    Ok Measurements are as follows
Centre of front wheel to tip of bottom cowling = 640mm
Bottom of cowling to floor ( bear in mind I have a thin SS plate bolted) = 60mm

    Hope this helps

i have a stainless steel plate about 3-4mm thick under that part - it's take a few hits from the crap roads and speedbumps but has done it's jobs.

Thanks for all the info guys, anyone got a picture of the S/S or Ali plate under the scoop? Regarding air lift kits, can these be retro fitted?

Mine scraped the trailer getting it out after paint because of the angle, a little touch up and it’s sorted, my thoughts we’re exactly what has been mentioned about a skid plate? But not sure as if that hooks on to something I guess the inevitable will be damage ! Not sure right from wrong or just be really careful I’ll measure clearance during the week with tyre size etc.
