    Lightbulb New Cobra Owner Essex

    Hi everyone

I've just found the forum and thought i'd say hi.
I've owned an AK 427 2016 MK2 with a 6.2ltr LS3 lump for almost a year, it has spent most of that time in the workshop and hope to get back into it in the summer.

As a nearly complete kit it shouldn't have needed much before it could be really enjoyed on the road, but the chap that built it was more engineer than driver, so the build needs lots more work than first thought but that's the fun of these cars.

Quick question, tuning, is there anyone in the Essex area that could be recommended?

    Cheers
    Rob

    Hi Rob

Welcome to the mad world of cobra ownership.

As you are running an LS3 it is probably worth mentioning which ECU you are using as now all tuners can or will do certain types.

It seems you now need to be more of an expert in the use of the software and itโ€™s compatibility than detailed knowledge of engines. I know this as I have an LS2 with the standard GM ECU and I am limited to places that will tune it. LS engines are great once setup though.....(only said that to make the purists squirm ๐Ÿ˜€)
