    That's where my black & silver plate sits but I have gone to the expense
    of using the "P" clips with rubber inserts .
    The number plate is normal size along with the letters/numbers.

    I did have tie wraps for about twenty years with no problems.

    I use duck tape to get through my MOT, but think I’m going to go down the p clip route with a 6 digit plate and use ties over the top once a year or as required!

    I used the same type of mounting block as I did for the front anti roll bar

    picture is from merlin motorsport, but RS do them as well, plus others I’m sure.

    mounted to the bottom bar of the front hoop

    I also used countersunk bolts with number plate fixing cover.
