So my Honda grommets arrived today. They are incredibly tight on the tube. When you say you opened them up i am interested in what you actually mean. There is not a lot of thickness before you would cut through the wall.

    Thanks.

Or just use round Lucas grommets from autosparks for around 90p each

They confirm to an oval hole on the front and are stretchy to cover up any minor imperfections.

I don’t fit them anyway as I think a neatly cut hole looks better.

    Simples.

Hmm - potentially insufficiently reassuringly expensive.
You may have missed a great business opportunity: charge the guys above £25 for an authentic Lucas grommet pack, half price compared to Finishline, and they'll clearly be eating out of your hand.

Damn it. How do I delete my post. Looks like I’ve missed a trick.

Also meant to say conform not confirm.

I've made a prototype version on my 3d printer. And it works.

Looks like a good solution. The great thing with 3D printing you can always slightly modify.

They look a bit bright and may be not IVA compliant lol.

You will need to order a few reels of TPU.
