    Beaulieu Show

Beaulieu Motor Museum on the 20th June are hosting an American, Custom Car and Hotrod meet. Tickets are £10 each which are on sale on line only and includes the car in the grounds. I have bought my tickets already.
Our cars should qualify as they are based on an American/British marque, and if nothing else could be considered Hotrods, if you squint hard enough! And anyway, there were a few Cobras a couple of years ago when I last went.
Hoping for good weather as I don’t have a roof!
Perhaps a meet somewhere and enter as a group if enough people are interested.

I’m sure I posted this earlier. Maybe I didn’t press submit. If I did, why would it have been removed?

Cool. The tickets are pre book only on line.

Sorry I didn’t make it last week. I ended up working both days and am also working the bank holiday. Aeroplanes don’t seem to realise that humans actually want to take time off!

I have my ticket and so I'll be there, subject to the weather. I hope to see other members there.

Weather not looking so good for this at the moment. I'm not sure yet but if it is wet I won't be making the 2+ hour trip!!! Got soaked a couple of weeks ago in a heavy shower and it's really no fun driving the cobra in the wet.
    What are others thinking?

Exactly the same as you. But I am much closer, about 45 minute drive.
If there is a chance of rain then I may risk it. But if rain is guaranteed, I will be staying home.
My tyres are a little old and hard so the combination of moist roads and those things will make the car a little lively! Plus I don't have a roof!

Dave, take your cobra and an umbrella. Hope to see you there sunday, first proper car related meet we will attend this year so rain will not stop me (skin is waterproof anyway). Been to a couple of Port Solent car meets recently and a few of the guys are turning up with their cobras which are always well received. Hope to be joining your meets soon. Best regards

I just came back on here to say the weather forecast is sort of looking more favourable by the hour. But then I've probably put a hex on the whole thing just by saying that!
    Anyway, fingers crossed.

Pete, be nice to see you there if I do get there. Our tickets are exhibitors ones, not sure if they will be accepted as general entry if we don't take the Dax....? If you have one of those after market alternator belt tension adjustment kits I would gladly lighten your load by buying one!
