I was told the same for my 15” James. I’m
Going with Galaxy RWL - 215’s on the front and either 235 or maybe 245 on the rear.

+1 for the Galaxies with the letters on the outside. NB you can solvate the blue film off the white letters rather than using a Dremmel like what I did.

Another +1 for Galaxies, 235 front, 255 rear, albeit on Trigos not Image wheels - I used a damp cloth to get the blue film off - I think its just PVA.

    Going on your rim sizes

Front 7" ideal tyre size is 205/215
    Rear 8.5 2 ideal size 235/245

I went for 215 front and 235 rears on my Dax. I could of easily got 245 on the rear as they have more of a vertical side wall for the Galaxy tyres. They did need stretching onto the bead.

I am another one on Galaxy recommendations having put about 3,000 miles on them. I went with the RWL on the inside just my personal choice. They transformed the wet road holding and also in the dry over GF Goodrich TA v-rated. I would seriously recommend a tyre change to anyone with tyres over 10 years old. They did make the ride a little firmer but your could easily soften with shock adjustments.
