    IVA Documentation

Soon i intend to book my IVA test and wondered if there is any need to take any documentation, in reality there is non with a non registered vehicle and the question arises how does the inspector list the vehicle for and after the test.

You'll need to take your IVA test paperwork and proof of engine age documentation.
Also any photos of obscured inaccessbale testable areas e.g. seat belt mountings.

The way i approached it was to submit all the paperwork, photos, receipts, Donor Car V5c and Engine Age verification electronically when i applied for the IVA test.

When i went to the VOSA centre, i brought all of the above to the test but they didn't ask to see it.

I'm now at the stage of registering the car through the DVLA and they want the same information (Major components receipts, Donor Car V5c, Engine Age verification) as part of the registration. This time they want to see the originals so i can't email them.

    Hope this helps,
    Mark
