    Looks like you have carried out a lot of very worthwhile updates,
    I'm impressed .
    What I also noticed that you still have the inboard disk set up like mine or have
    you gone to outboards .
    I am quite happy with that set up on my SR and have more than enough braking at
    the rear .
    If these are set up correctly they are no problem as is with the handbrake.

    I also have this outboard brake axle from the intermediate 93-95 XJS
    Never had a problem with the inboard brakes on any of my projects.
    Old style Jag axles are just fine with little weight on top to drag around.

    I built this spaceframe so that the complete axle could just drop out easily.
    Without the headache of removing/replacing the bottom arms.
